What happened after Food Paradise?

The episode featured Bratz Y'all's German-style biergarten menu — house-made bratwurst and schnitzel plates served with imported German beer in a converted Bywater warehouse space. Bratz Y'all was a German bistro, bakery, and biergarten in New Orleans's Bywater neighborhood, founded in 2017 by Berlin-born owner Sven Vorkauf, who had sold the same food from a market booth since 2012. According to the New Orleans news site Hoodline, the restaurant closed on May 31, 2026 after a nine-year run, with Vorkauf citing rising costs and a landlord-posted eviction notice. WWLTV separately reported the closure that same month, describing Bratz Y'all as a longtime fixture of the neighborhood's food and music scene.
