What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?

Budare, doing business as Budare RestaurArte, appeared in Food Network's 'Chicken, Steak and Cake' episode (aired 2022-05-20). The restaurant operated in San Juan's Miramar neighborhood and was named for the flat griddle traditionally used in Venezuelan-style cooking to prepare arepas and similar dishes. Google Places lists the business status as permanently closed. A check of the restaurant's former web address, budarepr.com, on 2026-09-08 found the domain now hosting an unrelated Indonesian-language gambling-promotion site, with no trace of the original restaurant's content, consistent with the business no longer operating under that domain or maintaining any web presence there. No dated news coverage of a closure announcement was located during this record's search. The restaurant's last known address was 670 Avenida Juan Ponce de León in San Juan.
