Part 1 — Season 19, Episode 3 Aired

On Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, Guy Fieri visited this Vietnamese restaurant, known for street-food-style dishes including banh mi sandwiches, at its original storefront on Metropolitan Avenue in Ridgewood, Queens. The New York Times described the restaurant's cooking as "some of the best Vietnamese street-style food in New York" when it opened in 2013. According to QNS (2016-11), Bun-Ker Vietnamese closed its Ridgewood location on November 15, 2016, and reopened two weeks later at 99 Scott Avenue in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn, in a larger space with a roof deck and general store. A Yelp listing for the Scott Avenue address, updated in August 2026, marks the business as permanently closed. The Metropolitan Avenue storefront featured on the 2014 episode sat near the Brooklyn-Queens border in Ridgewood.

Part 2 — Season 27, Episode 8 Aired

Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives visited this Vietnamese restaurant, near the Ridgewood, Queens/Bushwick, Brooklyn border, for the 2017 episode 'Amazing Asian' (aired 2017-09-29). According to Food Network's own restaurant page, Guy Fieri was served the restaurant's grilled pork chops and a crispy crepe filled with bacon, shrimp, and bean sprouts, described there as Vietnamese street food. Bun-ker Vietnamese operated from 99 Scott Ave, an address that falls on the Brooklyn side of the Ridgewood/Bushwick line even though the area is often called Ridgewood. According to tripledlife.com, Bun-ker permanently closed on 2022-07-07, citing a Facebook announcement from the business. A Yelp listing for the same address, updated 2026-08, still carries a permanently-closed marking, and Google's own business listing for the address likewise shows it marked closed.
