Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives featured Don Antonio By Starita in a 2014 episode titled "Keepin' It Real," spotlighting the Hell's Kitchen pizzeria's wood-fired Neapolitan pies, baked in an oven imported from Italy and including a lightly fried pizza finished in the oven and topped with tomato sauce, smoked mozzarella, and basil. A Yelp page for the address, updated in August 2026, carries nearly 1,900 reviews and lists the pizzeria as still serving lunch and dinner. Part 3 — Season 32, Episode 5 Aired May 15, 2020

In this takeout-themed episode, Guy Fieri ordered from Don Antonio by Starita in Midtown Manhattan, the Neapolitan pizzeria Roberto Caporuscio opened in 2012 with Naples pizzaiolo Antonio Starita, according to the restaurant's own site. The segment centered on the Montanara Starita, a lightly fried dough base topped with smoked buffalo mozzarella, basil and tomato sauce, the restaurant's best-known pizza. Don Antonio brought traditional wood-fired Neapolitan pizza-making, tied to the Starita a Materdei pizzeria in Naples, to New York.
