What happened after Food Paradise?
Food Paradise's "Bodacious Bowls" episode featured Cafeteria's New American comfort food, served in the high-energy, trend-setting dining room the restaurant is known for in Chelsea. Cafeteria has operated at 119 7th Avenue in Manhattan for more than two decades, according to a Yelp listing for the restaurant. According to that Yelp listing, updated September 2026, the page carried thousands of photos and reviews and listed extended operating hours, including 9am to 1am on Fridays and Saturdays. The Cafeteria Group's own corporate website, checked 2026-09-08, listed a management office at 54 West 21st Street rather than restaurant-specific hours or a menu, so the Yelp listing was used to confirm current operation. The restaurant also maintains a separate consumer-facing website, cafeteria-nyc.com, apart from the management group's site.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
