What happened after Food Paradise?

Food Paradise's episode "California Dreamin'" (S14E1) featured Phil's Fish Market & Eatery, a seafood restaurant and fish market near Moss Landing, California, long known for its cioppino. The business pairs a sit-down restaurant with a retail fish market counter and, according to its own site, has served the area for more than 35 years. Yelp's listing for the restaurant, updated in September 2026, describes it as an active, high-volume seafood destination that continues to draw long lines for its signature cioppino. A 2026 Tripadvisor review mentioned a related, newer downtown Castroville location in a former schoolhouse, distinct from the original waterfront spot, suggesting the business has expanded beyond its original site. The restaurant's own website carried older, 2023-dated content at the time of this check, but the more recent third-party listings indicate ongoing operation. No source found during this check reported a closure or change of ownership.
