What happened after Food Paradise?
The Food Paradise episode "Cruisin' the Coasts" (S17E1) featured Coney Waffles Ice Cream Sweet Shop, the Pier Village outpost of a New Jersey ice cream chain that traces its name to a stand that opened on the Coney Island boardwalk in 1946. The shop is known for its Side Show Shake and its signature Waffle and Ice Cream, a warm waffle topped with three scoops, served alongside more than 50 rotating flavors including cotton candy and raspberry-chocolate chip. Beyond Long Branch, the chain also operates locations in Asbury Park, Belmar, and Red Bank, New Jersey. According to Yelp, whose listing for the Long Branch shop was updated in September 2026, Coney Waffle, Ice Cream and Sweet Shop remains open; the business's own website, last modified September 8, 2026, was live with an active online ordering widget.
