What happened after Food Paradise?
The Food Paradise episode "Cruisin' the Coasts" (S17E1) featured Gypsy Joynt, a bohemian, family-owned comfort-food restaurant and live-music venue on Galveston Island. The eclectic menu spans all-day breakfast, pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, and desserts, with dishes like the Shroom burger and a loaded "garbage pizza" alongside oversized cinnamon rolls. Gypsy Joynt pairs its food service with a stage for regular live music inside a boho-decorated dining room. According to Galveston Dining Guide, which reviewed the restaurant on June 25, 2025, Gypsy Joynt was still serving its full menu with vegetarian options and live entertainment. Gypsy Joynt's own website, checked September 8, 2026, remained active with a working online ordering widget at the same Stewart Road address given by Google Places.
