What happened after Food Paradise?

The Food Paradise episode "Cruisin' the Coasts" (S17E1) featured Draft South Mission, a 12,000-square-foot gastropub inside San Diego's Belmont Park amusement park, built around 60 beer taps and a 31-foot LED wall used for brewing videos and live sports broadcasts. The restaurant opened in the former Canes Bar & Grill space as part of Belmont Park's revitalization, led by operator Eat.Drink.Sleep, according to NBC 7 San Diego and SD News. The concept paired craft beer flights with pub food service on the Mission Beach boardwalk. The venue's official Belmont Park website, checked September 8, 2026, now brands the restaurant simply "Draft," lists current seasonal hours, and offers online ordering, indicating it is still operating at the same Ocean Front Walk address.
