Confetti's Bar & Grill Is Now Tropica Bar & Cafe — Bar Rescue Update

Confetti's Bar & Grill, a neighborhood bar in the Norcross/Peachtree Corners area of Georgia, appeared on Bar Rescue in the episode 'Shutting Down the Confetti Party,' which aired 2022-04-17 in the show's eighth season. As is typical of the format, Jon Taffer's team evaluated the bar's drink program, service, and physical layout before making changes intended to carry the business forward, including a name change as part of the relaunch. According to Bar Rescue Updates, a website that tracks what happened to bars featured on the show, Taffer renamed the bar from Confetti's Bar & Grill to Tropica Bar & Cafe as part of the on-air relaunch, and the business kept that name afterward.

A Google Places record for 'Tropica Bar' lists the business as operational at 6470 Spalding Dr, matching Confetti's original address, with a website at tropicabar.com. A Yelp listing for the old name, 'Confetti's Bar & Grill,' is marked closed and was updated in July 2026 — consistent with the business having moved its public listings over to the new name rather than the location itself having closed. That Yelp page, filed under a hookah-bar category rather than a general bar-and-grill listing, had logged 24 reviews and 257 photos under the original name before the rebrand, giving some sense of the business's footprint prior to the 2022 relaunch.

An automated check of the current site could not be completed for this record; a request to the business's website returned an HTTP 403 response, so on-site content such as hours or a 2026-dated menu was not directly reviewed. The rename itself, however, is corroborated by two independent, dated sources: the April 2022 fan-site post describing the on-air change and the July 2026 Yelp listing showing the prior name retired. One search was used for this record to confirm the rename and locate these two sources. No reporting was found describing a subsequent closure, second rename, or change of ownership at the Spalding Dr address since the 2022 relaunch.
