What happened after Food Paradise?

The episode featured Memphis BBQ Co. for its Memphis-style barbecue plates, including slow-smoked ribs, pulled pork, and classic Southern sides served from a strip-mall storefront in the Dunwoody stretch of the Atlanta metro area, though the show credited it simply to Atlanta. Tomorrow's News Today Atlanta reported in July 2022 that the Ashford Place barbecue restaurant had closed and the space was listed for lease. Tomorrow's News Today Atlanta later reported in August 2024 that a Korean steakhouse, Stone Age Korean Steakhouse, was set to replace the former barbecue restaurant in the same roughly 7,200-square-foot space. Google Places lists the Memphis BBQ Co. business as permanently closed. The restaurant's own website, memphisbbqco.com, returned an HTTP 403 error when checked on 2026-09-08, consistent with the space no longer being occupied by the original restaurant.
