What happened after Mystery Diners?
Cookin' with Lenny Smokehouse, a barbecue restaurant in Chatsworth, California, appeared on Mystery Diners season 8, episode 2, "Poaching Profits," which aired 2014-10-20. Mystery Diners is a series in which an owner concerned about a service or staff problem allows hidden cameras and undercover diners into the business, then reviews the footage with the host for a coaching session on fixes. According to Wikipedia's article on the series, citing its sources, the investigations are arranged in advance and scripted for television rather than being spontaneous.
Google's business-listing data for the restaurant's address, 23360 Lake Manor Dr in Chatsworth, marks Cookin With Lenny's Smokehouse with a permanently-closed status. No current website, phone listing, or social-media presence was located for the restaurant during this research, and no dated news article or review discussing the closure's circumstances or timing was found. In the absence of any fresher source showing the restaurant open, the closed designation in the business's own mapped record stands as the most recent available evidence of its status.

Sources we checked
We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
