What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
On 'Burgers, Tacos & Dogs' (Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, aired 2009-08-10), Guy Fieri visited Fab Hot Dogs, a Reseda hot dog stand opened by a New Jersey transplant. The restaurant specializes in Rippers, natural-casing beef and pork hot dogs from New Jersey that are deep-fried and topped to order, including the Bald Eagle Ripper served with a sweet relish made from cabbage, carrot, garlic, and oregano. A Yelp listing for the business, updated July 2026, places it in the Loehmann's Plaza shopping center at 19417 1/2 Victory Boulevard and lists hours of 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 to 8:00 p.m. on weekdays, 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, and closed Sunday, along with more than a thousand customer reviews. The business has also been recognized on local 'Best Hot Dogs' and 'Best Chili Dogs' lists, according to the same Yelp listing's business description.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
