Is Corbin Bowling Center Still Open? Mystery Diners Update (Tarzana, CA)

On the Season 9 premiere episode "Bowling for Dollars" (Mystery Diners, aired 2015-02-04), Bryan, owner of the Tarzana bowling center featured on the show as Corbin Bowling Center, contacted investigator Charles about complaints of rowdy customers; mystery diners Eliot and Kendall went undercover and reported that staff were condoning the behavior rather than stopping it. According to Wikipedia's article on the program, citing its sources, the show's own end-credits disclaimer allows that certain events may have been staged or re-enacted for dramatic effect, and a television critic quoted in the article called the show's scenarios implausible. Wikipedia's general entry on bowling alleys describes such a venue as a dedicated facility, or part of another building such as a clubhouse, where the sport of bowling is played, which fits the Ventura Boulevard property's mix of lanes, a cafe, and a bar area branded Bar 10.

The venue operates today as Corbin Bowl, and its website, checked on 2026-09-09, listed operating hours running from 11 a.m. to midnight most days and a working reservations and party-booking system. Only the business's own site was checked for this record, so this check treats the finding as a single, dated source. The site did not display a current year in its page text or footer, though its posted hours and active booking widget were treated as current-operations evidence here. No closure, relocation, or ownership change was found for the Ventura Boulevard address.
