Corner Cafe Bar & Grill Is Now Country Barn… — Bar Rescue Update

Bar Rescue featured this Horseshoe Bend, Idaho, cafe and bar in the episode "Horseshoe Bend It Like Bar Rescue" (S8E33), aired 2023-05-14, under the name Corner Cafe Bar & Grill. A Yelp listing titled "The Country Barn & Corner Cafe," for the address at 446 ID-55, Horseshoe Bend, ID 83629, was updated 2026-04 and shows the business now operating as Country Barn Corner Cafe, also styled Country Barn Corner Bar & Cafe. The listing gives a phone number, (208) 573-0440, and posted hours of Monday–Tuesday 8 a.m.–8 p.m., closed Wednesday, Thursday 8 a.m.–8 p.m., Friday–Saturday 8 a.m.–9 p.m., and Sunday 8 a.m.–8 p.m. A separate Yelp listing for the same address, filed under the name "Corner Cafe Bar and Grill," was updated 2026-03, indicating both names remain attached to the location in different directories even as the business markets itself under the newer name.

According to the Yelp listing, the business serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, including burgers, sandwiches, salads, pizza, pasta, and steak entrees, and operates a full bar located past a large barn door leading into a second room. The listing also describes live music on Friday and Saturday nights and a recurring Paint-n-Sip event for both children and adults. Google's Places record for the address lists the business as Country Barn Corner Cafe with an operational status, consistent with the Yelp listings. This record did not check the operator's own website directly, so the hours and offerings described here come from the Yelp listing rather than the business's own site.

No information in these sources describes the specific problems addressed during the original Bar Rescue visit or what changes Taffer's crew made to the space, menu, or staff, beyond the eventual shift in branding from Corner Cafe Bar & Grill to Country Barn Corner Cafe. The Yelp listing's "Cocktail Bars" category tag, visible alongside its restaurant listing, further associates the location with its bar offerings in addition to the cafe's food menu.
