What happened after Food Paradise?
"Chowin' Down the Mississippi River" (S15E3) featured Dante's Kitchen's Louisiana-inspired Southern cooking on its New Orleans stop. The restaurant operated out of a converted cottage in the city's Uptown/Riverbend area at 736 Dante Street, built around locally sourced Gulf and Louisiana ingredients. According to Google Places, checked on 2026-09-08, Dante's Kitchen's business status was listed as permanently closed. The restaurant's website, danteskitchen.com, did not return any response during the same check, and no working replacement site or current social media presence was located. No dated news source describing the closure was found, so the timing and circumstances behind it remain unconfirmed beyond the Google Places listing. This record relies on that single Google Places signal, since the dead website returned no content of its own to corroborate or contradict it.
