What happened after Food Paradise?
District Taco built its menu around Yucatan-inspired tacos, burritos, and bowls with a fully customizable build, serving downtown office workers near Metro Center in Washington, D.C. The chain began in 2009 as a food truck in Rosslyn, Virginia, and opened its first brick-and-mortar location in Arlington in 2010 before expanding across the Mid-Atlantic. According to the restaurant's own site, districttaco.com, the Metro Center DC page carries a 2026 copyright, live online ordering, and posted hours of 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekends. Wikipedia, revised in August 2026, lists the chain as operating roughly 20 locations across the region, consistent with the Metro Center address remaining an active District Taco storefront.
