What happened after Food Paradise?

On Food Paradise's "Meatball Paradise" episode (Travel Channel, aired 2013), The Meatball Shop showcased its customizable meatball bowls, built from a choice of meatball, sauce, and side at the counter-service restaurant. The Meatball Shop was a New York City restaurant founded in 2010 by Daniel Holzman and Michael Chernow, who met as teenage delivery workers at the Candle Cafe, according to Wikipedia. TheStreet reported that the chain, which had grown to seven locations across Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Washington, D.C. at its peak, closed its final location, in Hell's Kitchen at 798 9th Ave, on 2026-03-28, ending a 14-year run amid rising rents and labor costs. TheStreet also reported that the founders discussed a possible revival of the concept on social media in late 2025.
