What happened after Food Paradise?

The episode featured Duke's Drive-In, a longtime Chicago-area drive-in known for classic burgers and American diner fare, as part of a segment on retro, old-school eateries. Duke's operated in Bridgeview, Illinois for 44 years before closing that location in 2019 to make way for a Panera Bread, according to Southwest Regional Publishing's Desplaines Valley News. The same outlet reported on 2022-05-01 that Duke's reopened inside a Gas-N-Wash at 19990 S. LaGrange Road in Mokena, Illinois, run by Bill Humphrey, the son-in-law of original owner Bud Dukes, using the same suppliers as the Bridgeview location. On 2026-07-18, per the site's last-modified header, the restaurant's own website, dukesdriveintogo.com, was showing current hours (Thursday 10am-8pm, Friday-Saturday 11am-9pm, Sunday 11am-8pm) and an active online-ordering option, and a Google Places listing marked the business operational.
