What happened after Food Paradise?

On Food Paradise's "Meatball Paradise" episode (Travel Channel, aired 2013), Bartolini's Restaurant showcased its oversized Italian meatballs, including the shop's meatball sandwich eating challenge. Bartolini's is a pizzeria and Italian restaurant on 147th Street in Midlothian, Illinois, known for deep-dish pizza alongside its meatball menu. The restaurant's website, checked 2026-09-08, promotes an ongoing Meatball Contest and a 10-Pound Meatball Sandwich Challenge for customers looking to test themselves against the same style of dish featured on the show, plus an active online ordering system for carry-out and dine-in orders.

The site references 2026 Holiday Hours and a September Music event, suggesting the restaurant continues to host in-house gatherings beyond its food menu. The site also notes Bartolini's was covered by WGN Radio's Pizza Madness segment, and lists the same 147th Street address and phone contact used for carry-out and dine-in service today.
