What happened after Food Paradise?
Eggy's Diner appeared in the 'Carb Overload' episode, a lineup of carb-focused restaurants that also included Blue Star Donuts, Jacob's Pickles, and Wholy Bagel, as a diner in downtown Minneapolis. Google's listing for the business at 120 W 14th St marks it permanently closed as of a 2026-09-08 check. On the same date, the restaurant's own website, eggysdiner.com, returned an HTTP 403 error instead of loading a homepage, showing no current menu, hours, or ordering information. No dated news source or public record was found describing when or why the diner closed, or showing a successor business operating under a different name at 120 W 14th St. Google's listing and the non-functioning website are the only current sources on Eggy's Diner's status.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
