The restaurant operated from a storefront at 1127 Harry Wurzbach Hwy in San Antonio for years after its appearances on the show. According to Yelp, the business's listing is marked closed as of a June 2026 update. San Antonio Current's roundup of the city's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives alumni also lists El Bohio among the program's closed San Antonio restaurants, describing it as one of the few local spots that had served traditional Puerto Rican food. No replacement business or new ownership at the Harry Wurzbach address has been reported.
