The Las Vegas Review-Journal covered the episode at the time, describing how the show's designer, Casey Noble, and her team reworked the property's front desk and one of its guest rooms as part of Anthony Melchiorri's visit; the specific complaints or operational problems that prompted the visit are not detailed further in the sources reviewed here. This record's our records had initially matched the address to Fontainebleau Las Vegas, a large resort at 2777 S Las Vegas Blvd; that match is a different, unrelated property, and the address above reflects Fortune Hotel & Suites' actual location, confirmed against Yelp's business listing and the Review-Journal's episode coverage. Coordinates were re-geocoded for the corrected address using the U.S. Census geocoder. Yelp's listing for Fortune Hotel & Suites, updated May 2026, marks the business as closed and shows 243 accumulated reviews over the property's history, with recent reviewer comments describing uncleaned rooms and inconsistent housekeeping in its later years. An earlier travel-site summary from 2021 had described the hotel as still operating, with mixed reviews citing cleanliness, amenities, and safety concerns; the 2026 Yelp listing is the more recent of the two dated sources and reflects the property's current status.
