What happened after Bar Rescue?
G.I. Jodi's Bar and Grill opened in Littleton, Colorado, in 2000, when owner Jodi Malloy built a military-themed bar honoring her father's Army service, filling the walls with memorabilia. By the time Bar Rescue's Jon Taffer arrived for the episode "Saving GI Jodi" (aired 2019-09-22), Jodi had brought her son Travis in as manager, and according to a recap by RealityTVUpdates, the two clashed over how the bar was run: Jodi felt Travis wasn't handling the job, and Travis felt she was overbearing. RealityTVUpdates reported that the bar was losing about $8,000 a month, that its five-person staff was too thin for the space, and that testers found the margaritas poorly made, though the food tested better. Taffer's crew renovated the bar and, according to Denver Westword, renamed it Malloy's Bar & Grille. Westword reported that six weeks after the rescue, kitchen sales had more than tripled and overall bar sales were up 30 percent. The bar has kept the Malloy's name since. A site check on 2026-09-08 found malloysbar.com online, titled "Malloy's Bar & Grill - Littleton, CO," listing weekend hours (Saturday midnight to 2 a.m., Sunday noon to 10 p.m.), an active online ordering widget, links to the bar's Facebook, Instagram, and Yelp pages, and a running "Birthday Club" promotion aimed at private events. The page did not display a copyright year or other explicit 2026-dated content beyond the live ordering and hours listings. No source found in this search indicates that Malloy's has changed hands or names again since the 2019 rescue. The bar's original G.I. Jodi's name and décor drew on Jodi Malloy's father's Army service, a personal-history detail RealityTVUpdates cited as central to the bar's identity before the renovation.
