What happened after Food Paradise?

Food Paradise (Travel Channel) featured Giovanni's Shrimp Truck's garlic shrimp plates in the episode 'Street Eats,' which aired February 25, 2018, according to IMDb. Giovanni's has served garlic shrimp, hot and spicy shrimp, and lemon-butter shrimp from its original truck on Oahu's North Shore since 1993, and it has repeatedly been named a reader-poll favorite for shrimp trucks in Hawaii. Since the episode, the truck has continued operating at its Kamehameha Highway address in Haleiwa: a Yelp business listing updated in July 2026 showed the location active, and the business's own website, checked on 2026-09-08, promoted a second Giovanni's location inside an Hmart store in Honolulu at 458 Keawe Street, in addition to the original North Shore truck. No source found indicated the North Shore location itself had closed or relocated.
