Food Paradise (Travel Channel) featured Pastrami Zombie's pastrami sandwiches in the episode 'Street Eats,' which aired February 25, 2018, according to IMDb. Pastrami Zombie was a Portland food truck founded in 2016 by owner Melissa McMillan, known for a smoked pastrami sandwich served on Grand Central bread with coleslaw, Russian dressing, and Swiss cheese. According to Sammich's own 'Our Story' page on its website, the Pastrami Zombie truck has since been retired and its Portland operation rebranded as Sammich Portland, now serving out of the Heist Food Pod on East Burnside Street. On 2026-09-08, Sammich's website was live and listed pickup and delivery ordering alongside the company's separate Ashland, Oregon restaurant.
