Is Hogwash Saloon Still Open? Bar Rescue Update (Fountain Hills, AZ)

Hogwash Saloon operated at 16737 E. Parkview Ave. in Fountain Hills, Arizona, and appeared in Bar Rescue's "Jason's Last Call" (aired 2024-03-03). According to realitytvupdates.com's recap, owner Jason Reinke bought the bar in February 2023 after years as a regular customer, but ran it without basic systems in place, and the business was losing roughly $3,000 a month by the time Bar Rescue's crew filmed in October 2023. During the makeover, the show renamed Hogwash Saloon to Skybox Ultra Sports Lounge, a change realitytvupdates.com reports the owner kept rather than reverting.

The site's recap, last updated March 9, 2024, notes the location had only a handful of online reviews in the weeks after the relaunch, and that management said at the time it planned to add food service, which the site's author took as a possible explanation for the light review volume rather than a sign of trouble. That recap did not report an opening-night attendance figure or a revenue change, and no additional Bar Rescue clip or news coverage of the makeover was located. A reader comment on that page later claimed, citing a Google-generated summary, that the bar had closed; realitytvupdates.com's author disputed the claim directly, pointing to continued social-media activity, and a follow-up comment put the Google rating at 4.3 stars across more than 76 reviews, up from roughly 28 shortly after the relaunch — growth inconsistent with a closed business.

No 2026-dated website, review, or listing for Skybox Ultra Sports Lounge was located, so the most recent dated confirmation of operation traces to the March 2024 recap and its comment thread rather than to current-year evidence. A Google Places record for the address currently marks the location operational under the Skybox Ultra Sports Lounge name, consistent with that recap, though Places alone carries no publication date. Nothing found here contradicts continued operation, but nothing dated to 2025 or 2026 confirms it either.
