On Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives ('From Europe to Asia,' aired 2022-01-28), Guy Fieri visited Il Bistro Italiano, a downtown Grand Junction restaurant built around Northern Italian cooking, including house-made pasta, bread and sauces sourced from local farmers and ranchers. The restaurant operated for many years at 400 Main Street in downtown Grand Junction, Colorado, and built a following reflected in hundreds of Tripadvisor and Yelp reviews. According to the Grand Junction Sentinel, owner Brunella Gualerzi later closed the restaurant to pursue a new business venture. A Yelp listing updated 2026-06 marks Il Bistro Italiano as permanently closed, and the restaurant's former web domain, ilbistroitaliano.com, no longer hosts the restaurant's own content and instead resolves to unrelated third-party material with no connection to the original business.
