Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives visited Il Pastaficio, an Italian restaurant in the Cos Cob section of Greenwich, Connecticut, for the 'From Chicken to Noodles' episode, which aired October 13, 2023. Il Pastaficio makes fresh pasta at its Putnam Avenue storefront. A September 8, 2026 check of the restaurant's own domain, ilpastaficio.com, found only a placeholder page reading that a new WordPress site was being built, with no menu or hours listed there. Yelp's listing for Il Pastaficio, however, was updated in July 2026 and showed 70 reviews along with daily hours of 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., according to Yelp.

Google Places also listed the business as operational as of the September 2026 check. The restaurant's own site therefore appeared to be mid-rebuild rather than offline, based on the placeholder text, while the Yelp listing and the Places record carried more current, dated confirmation of ongoing operation.
