What happened after Food Paradise?
The episode featured Isola's wood-fired pizza and pasta, centered on the kitchen's Italian small-plate and pizza program. The San Diego location, in the Little Italy neighborhood, is one of several restaurants under the same ownership, according to the business's own website. According to Isola's website (isolapizzabar.com), checked on 2026-09-09, the site lists current hours for the Little Italy location, a working online-ordering system, and additional locations in La Jolla and a newly opened Encinitas restaurant. Google Places lists the India Street address as operational under the name 'Isola Little Italy.' The site's page title now reads 'Isola Pizza & Pasta' rather than the 'Isola Pizza Bar' name used at the time of the episode, though the same India Street address and apparent ownership continue.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
