What happened after Food Paradise?
An S17E9 episode titled "Go Big or Go Hungry" featured Donut Bar, a San Diego doughnut shop turning out hot yeast, cake, and vegan doughnuts alongside catering for private events. The shop operates from a storefront at 401 W. A Street in downtown San Diego. According to the business's own website (donutbarsd.com), checked 2026-09-08, the site carried a 2026 copyright notice, listed its full doughnut lineup including vegan options, and ran an active online-ordering cart with items available for checkout. Google Places, checked the same date, listed the San Diego location's business status as operational. The website's navigation also included dedicated pages for catering and events, along with a press section, though no specific opening date for the shop appeared in the material reviewed.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
