What happened after Restaurant Stakeout?

In 'Joe Broadway's or Bust,' Willie Degel wired hidden cameras through Joe Broadway's, a Staten Island sports bar and restaurant that Joe had opened as a first-time owner using an inheritance after his mother's passing. The footage caught a novice owner overwhelmed by day-to-day management, with an inexperienced staff left to run service on their own while customers grew unhappy. At the staff meeting, Willie laid out what the cameras showed and pushed Joe to take a firmer hand with scheduling, training, and floor oversight so the business he had bet his inheritance on could survive.

He returned later to see whether the new structure had stuck. In the years since, the business grew rather than folded: it now operates as Joe Broadway's Billiards & Sports Pub at the same Forest Avenue address, adding two floors of billiards, arcade games, and live entertainment on top of its original sports-bar menu. A Yelp listing for Joe Broadway's Billiards & Sports Pub was updated in August 2026 with no closure marker, and the business maintains an active 2026 OpenTable reservation page. Wikipedia's article on the series notes that it has been described as scripted, citing a 2012 realityblurred.com report that questioned the show's authenticity.
