What happened after Food Paradise?
The episode profiled a casual Phoenix breakfast-and-lunch spot known for its pancakes, one stop on the show's tour of restaurants named Joe's. The business operates today as Joe's Diner, a counter-service restaurant on North 7th Avenue in central Phoenix serving omelettes, breakfast plates, sandwiches and lighter fare from morning through early afternoon. According to the restaurant's own website (joesdineraz.com), checked 2026-09-08, the diner is open daily from 7:00am to 2:00pm and takes orders through a built-in online-ordering system. The site's current menu covers omelettes, breakfast, lunch and lighter-fare sections, and its homepage still promotes the diner's pancakes as a signature item.
A Google Maps listing checked the same day shows the address as an active business location matching the website's details. No news of a closure, sale or rebrand has turned up for the North 7th Avenue address since the episode aired, and the diner's own site continues to display current hours and its ordering tool.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
