What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives visited Bakersfield OTR for its One Street Wonders episode (aired 2014-10-10), highlighting the taco shop's Mexican street fare and its selection of more than 100 tequilas and American whiskeys. The Over-the-Rhine restaurant sits on Vine Street and has grown into a multi-city brand, with sister locations now open in Columbus, Detroit, Indianapolis, Nashville and Pittsburgh. The Vine Street location remains active. According to Yelp, reviewers posted new comments on 2026-05-30 and 2026-08-13, indicating ongoing regular business. The business's own website, bakersfieldtacos.com, displays a 2026 copyright date and continues to list online ordering, reservations, catering and gift cards for the Cincinnati location, alongside its sister restaurants in the other five cities. No closure, relocation, or ownership change has been reported at the Vine Street address.
