What happened after Food Paradise?

Food Paradise's episode "Aloha, Hawaii" (S14E2) featured Lava Lava Beach Club, a beachfront restaurant and bar at the Kauai Shores Hotel in Kapa'a, Hawaii, known for open-air, toes-in-the-sand dining. According to the restaurant's own website, the menu ranges from casual fish tacos and burgers to steak and Hawaiian seafood, served alongside daily live island music. This record was initially flagged in the research batch as a possible non-restaurant attraction, but the restaurant's own site, an OpenTable listing, and a Yelp page updated in September 2026 all confirm it is an operating food-and-drink business rather than a standalone venue.

The Yelp listing shows current hours across breakfast, lunch, and dinner service. No indication of a closure, relocation, or change of ownership was found during this check; the restaurant continues to operate at its Papaloa Road address inside the hotel property.
