What happened after Food Paradise?
Food Paradise's episode "Aloha, Hawaii" (S14E2) featured Puka Dog, a Hawaiian-style hot dog stand at 2100 Hoone Road in Koloa on Kauai's south shore. According to the restaurant's own website, Puka Dog serves a Polynesian sausage stuffed into a toasted, hollowed bun and topped with a choice of the stand's signature 'secret sauces,' a format the site describes as unique to the brand. A 2026-09-08 check of pukadog.com found the site live, listing multiple locations, a current menu, and a working online ordering system. Google Places lists the Koloa location as operational. No 2026-dated third-party review or news source was checked to independently corroborate current hours, so this record relies primarily on the business's own site and the Places status rather than an outside dated source.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
