Le Bistro is a French restaurant that British-trained chef Andy Trousdale and his wife Elin opened in 2001 in Lighthouse Point, Florida, according to Reality TV Updates. By the time of Gordon Ramsay's 2009 visit, the restaurant had been open about eight years, and Elin wanted to adjust the menu to better suit local tastes while Andy was resistant to change, according to the same recap; local diners were said to be unhappy with the food, and Ramsay's tasting of dishes including a duck rillette and lamb curry roll found the menu outdated. Le Bistro is one of the more durable outcomes among Kitchen Nightmares restaurants. Reality TV Updates, in an update last revised in 2023, describes the restaurant as still open and points to a four-star Yelp rating built on more than 179 reviews, including reviews dated as recently as 2022; a Season 4 "Revisited" episode, which aired March 18, 2011, also shows Ramsay returning to find the food improved.
