What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
"Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" featured Lone Star Taco Bar in the September 5, 2014 episode "Roadtrippin' in Beantown," calling out the Allston taqueria's Tex-Mex-style tacos and full bar program. The restaurant operates from Cambridge Street in Boston's Allston neighborhood. According to the restaurant's own website, lonestar-boston.com, checked September 8, 2026, the site was live with an active online ordering system and posted hours including Saturday 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. and Sunday through Wednesday 11 a.m. to midnight. The same page promotes catering for parties, holidays, and corporate events, and lists a second Cambridge, Massachusetts location. The site's footer showed no copyright year or explicit date, but the working ordering link and posted current hours indicate the taco bar was still taking orders when the site was checked on September 8, 2026.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
