Is Old Irving Brewing Still Open? Food Paradise Update (Chicago, IL)
Food Paradise, Season 15 Chicago, Illinois
Current status
As of October 2026, Old Irving Brewing is open — confirmed via the restaurant's current website/social account, accessed September 8, 2026.
What the source shows: The brewery's website (checked 2026-09-08) offers live food/beer pickup, event booking, and a gift-card balance checker, and Google Places lists it as operational; a stray '2014' date in the page text looks like a copyright or founding artifact rather than staleness. What happened after Food Paradise?
Food Paradise's 'Brew and Chew' episode (S15E2) featured Old Irving Brewing Co., a craft brewery and brewpub at 4419 W Montrose Ave in Chicago. On 2026-09-08 the brewery's website (oldirvingbrewing.com) listed current operating hours of noon to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and noon to midnight Friday and Saturday, with the kitchen closing earlier each night. The site also offered food-and-beer pickup, private events and catering booking, a gift-card balance checker, and a running 'Beer Archive' of past releases alongside its current lineup. Google Places lists the business as operational at the same Montrose Avenue address. One footer element on the page carried the year 2014, which appears to be a copyright or founding-year artifact rather than evidence the site is outdated, given the otherwise-current ordering and events functionality.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
