What happened after Food Paradise?
Food Paradise's "Open 24 Hours" episode featured Palomino, a rustic European restaurant and bar on the Embarcadero in San Francisco known for a wood-fired oven menu, a raw bar, and a popular happy hour. Brokeass Stuart reported that the restaurant had operated at 345 Spear Street for about 26 years, dating its opening to roughly 2000, and that gift cards purchased at the San Francisco location remain valid at other restaurants in the Palomino group nationwide. A Google Places listing marks Palomino San Francisco as permanently closed.
Yelp's listing for the restaurant, updated in July 2026, also showed it as closed, according to Yelp. Foursquare's listing for the same address likewise carried a "Now Closed" label, according to Foursquare. Palomino operated as part of a small chain of restaurants under the same name in other U.S. cities, according to Brokeass Stuart.
