Opening his search for the best food in New York's Hudson Valley, host Casey Webb visited this Warwick cidery for its 'Apple Cider Doughnut Sundae,' two scoops of locally sourced ice cream (Webb chose salted caramel) topped with house-made apple-cider doughnuts formed by a doughnut-shaping machine from a secret batter and fresh Idared apple cider, then coated in cinnamon and sugar and finished with caramel and whipped cream, according to the episode synopsis on Wikipedia's Man v. Food season 10 page. Pennings Farm Cidery operates a taproom and production facility on Warwick Turnpike, on the hillside behind the roughly 100-acre Pennings Farm Market, which the Pennings family has run for more than 40 years, according to the farm's own website.
