What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?

Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives visited Porch on St. Simons Island, Georgia, for the seafood, soups and sandwiches spotlighted in the episode "Soup, Sandwiches and Seafood" (aired 2024-02-02). The restaurant's own menu pages list a seafood-forward dinner menu alongside soup and sandwich options for lunch, and it operates alongside a sister property, Palmers Village Cafe, offering a main menu, family meals, and catering in addition to dine-in service, according to its own website. That site, porchssi.com, carried a page last modified 2026-08-28 and a "© 2026 Porch St Simons Island" copyright notice, and it listed Sunday hours of 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM along with working online-ordering and gift-card links. Google's business listing for the 549 Ocean Blvd address also shows the restaurant as operational.
