What happened after Man v. Food?
Man v. Food Nation (S4E16, aired September 14, 2011) visited Rib Line, a Santa Maria-style barbecue restaurant on Los Osos Valley Road outside San Luis Obispo, sampling the restaurant's tri-tip and slow-smoked ribs. Rib Line has operated since 1988 using the same dry-rub recipe since it opened, and its menu centers on tri-tip sandwiches, baby back ribs, and beef ribs alongside housemade baked beans and barbecue sauce. According to a Yelp business listing updated in April 2026, now titled Rib Line BBQ & Grill LOVR, the restaurant had more than 600 reviews and continued to take online orders through a Toast ordering page. The restaurant's own website, ribline.com, also remained active, listing the Los Osos Valley Road location among its current locations. That current activity indicates Rib Line has kept operating under a slightly updated name at the same address.
