What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?

Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives stopped at Mama's Meatball in San Luis Obispo, California, for the December 13, 2024 episode "Just Like Mom" (S39E7). The Italian restaurant, inside the Creamery Marketplace on Higuera Street, serves housemade pasta dishes such as spaghetti with meatballs in Bolognese sauce, Parmesan-cream fettuccine and lasagna, according to its own online menu. A Yelp business page for Mama's Meatball, updated July 2026, showed the restaurant still drawing more than a thousand reviews at 570 Higuera Street, Suite 130, and Google Places lists it as operational at that address as of a 2026-09-08 check.

The restaurant's own site did not load for an automated check on the same date, returning an access-denied response rather than any content. Its own online menu, cited by Yelp, still describes dine-in, takeout and delivery service from the same Higuera Street storefront where the episode was filmed.
