What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives featured Petra Mediterranean Pizza & Grill in San Luis Obispo for the August 2, 2024 episode "Fistful of Flavor" (S40E1). The Mediterranean grill and pizzeria on Higuera Street pairs grill plates with wood-fired pizza that its own website says was named among USA Today's Top 25 pizzas nationally. Petra's website, checked 2026-09-08, advertised a second location on Tank Farm Road, a daily happy hour and working online ordering and catering systems, and Google Places lists the restaurant as operational at 1210 Higuera Street as of the same check. The restaurant also runs its own loyalty rewards program and sells gift cards, per its website, and continues to promote a daily happy hour running from 3 to 6 p.m. and all day Sunday.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
