What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?

Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives visited Sin of Cortez in Chico, California, for the May 3, 2019 episode "Burger and Breakfast" (S29E19), part of a segment pairing it with Richland, Washington's Ethos Bakery & Cafe. Sin of Cortez operates as a breakfast, brunch, and coffee spot at 2290 Esplanade, describing itself on its website as a made-from-scratch breakfast and lunch destination known locally for its coffee. According to the business's website (sinofcortez.com), checked 2026-09-08, the cafe listed Friday hours of 11am to 2pm, a phone number, (530) 879-9200, and an active online-ordering option.

According to the same website, the business had been recognized both locally and nationally, though the page as captured did not specify by whom. A Google Places listing likewise showed the business as operational as of the same check, and no independent news coverage or social-media confirmation was located beyond these two sources.
