What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives visited The Banshee in Chico, California, for the April 19, 2019 episode "Coming Together in Cali" (S29E18), part of the same downtown Chico segment that covered Grana and Upper Crust Bakery & Cafe. The Banshee operates as a bar and grill at 134 W 2nd St, described by a Chico-area business directory as offering casual pub fare and drinks. A Google Places listing showed the business as operational as of a 2026-09-08 check. That same day, a Locallya business-directory page reachable at thebanshee.shop still listed The Banshee among its Chico entries, carrying a 2026 copyright date, though that page functions as a general local-business directory rather than the bar's own official website. No independent news coverage or social-media confirmation of the bar's current operations was located beyond these two listings.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
