What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives stopped at Slanted Rice Vietnamese Bistro in Scottsdale on the Jan. 5, 2018 episode 'Poutine, Pizza and Pork,' highlighting the kitchen's from-scratch Vietnamese cooking, including its noodle and rice bowl dishes. Slanted Rice is a Vietnamese bistro on North Scottsdale Road that also offers catering for parties and corporate events. According to the restaurant's website (slantedrice.com), checked 2026-09-08, the site is live with a working online ordering link and posted hours of 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday.
Google Places also lists the business as operational as of the same 2026-09-08 check. No separate news coverage of the restaurant was reviewed, so the website and the mapping listing are the two dated sources on file for this record.
