What happened after Best Thing I Ever Ate?

On Food Network's Best Thing I Ever Ate, in the 2011 episode "Eggstraordinary," Adam Gertler named the Ultimate Steak and Egg Sliders at Society Cafe as his favorite dish. Society Cafe was a casual American restaurant inside the Encore hotel at Wynn Las Vegas, serving an all-day menu that included a vegan section. A Tripadvisor guest review dated 2016-09 noted that Society Cafe had been replaced by a poker room inside the resort, and a Yelp listing for the restaurant, updated 2026-08, marks Society Cafe Encore as permanently closed. The Society Cafe web address on file for the restaurant now redirects to Wynn Las Vegas's general dining page, which, checked 2026-09-08, does not list a Society Cafe among its current restaurants.
