What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives featured The Fly Trap, a scratch-kitchen diner on Woodward Avenue in Ferndale, Michigan, on the episode "Off the Hook Specials" (aired 2008-01-14), highlighting the restaurant's eclectic breakfast and lunch menu with a notably large selection of vegetarian dishes. The Fly Trap operates as "The Fly Trap -- a finer diner" at 22950 Woodward Avenue in Ferndale, serving breakfast and lunch from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. A Yelp listing updated August 2026 shows continued customer reviews and current information for the restaurant, and the business maintains its own website (theflytrapferndale.com) and an active Facebook page under the same name. The current Yelp update indicates The Fly Trap remains open under the same name at the same Woodward Avenue location where it appeared on the show.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
